The African Brands Academy is a Leading Capacity Building Institution for Branding, Brand Management, Technology and Brand Communication Industry. Our aim is to build the Next Generation of Talent in Brands Education, adopting the best modules for a top learning experience.

The Academy serves professionals in all aspects of Brand Management and Branding. It is open for individuals, Agencies and Corporate organizations with interest in Branding and Brand Management.

The African Brands Academy is an independent knowledge Academy in an area of Brand Management, Branding and Design Management. The institute pursues the scientific advancement in Brand management and Branding.
It accomplishes it by forming teams of scholars from leading organizations around Africa to focus on researching issues in Brand management and Branding.

The African Brands Academy conducts research, organizes events, publishes reports, recommends solution and work with decision makers to develop its research agenda. In the area of research, African Brands Academy focuses on scientific application-oriented research and has a Brand leadership index (BLI) and Brand Communication Monitor (BCM).

The African Brands Academy is a subsidiary of The African Brands Holding Company- Africa’s leading Brands Development Company in Africa.

OUR PHILOSOPHY


The African Brands Academy’s philosophy is based on three pillars: (1) Value Creation (2) Brand Leadership Conceptual Models (3) African Focus. The following provide a summary of these principles. In the past, the field of Brand management and Branding have each developed as a concept, model and technique. In spite of these developments, these disciplines clearly have a common basis/bias.

The African Brands Academy’s objective is to combine knowledge insights from these disciplines in other to find new insights. In doing so, The African Brands Academy adheres to the basic principles that comprises models and institutions can only be successful if they know how to establish theirs both internally as well as externally.

With others in the field of research, education or consulting, The African Brands Academy differentiates itself in its approach by working with conceptual models. Although such model cannot always fully explain or illustrate practical solution, they can significantly increase managers.

In addition to the use of internally developed models, such as the Brand –Value Monitor, a model in which the added value of the Brand for consumers and Brand owners is expressed and the Brand reputation Grid, a model in the area of Internet Branding.
